Hello there! My name is Minnie. I'm 37 years old, a christian single mother of one child, Nicholas (6). Nicholas was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was 3. It is not easy raising a child with autism but I thank God for His help. I would not make it without the Lord's help. And also my family's help. Thanks God for family huh?! I'm the youngest of three. I only got two older brothers and no sister. I live with my oldest brother and my other brother is in the army, stationed at Germany. Who was also in the war twice in Iraq.

I live in North Carolina, USA. I was originally from Los Angeles, CA, was born and raised there until the age of 18, my mom decided to move us to Tampa, Florida. I only lived there for 5 years and ended up here in North Carolina. Now we have three dogs, Leo (our large outdoor dog),he is part dingo and part retriever. Molly (one of our indoor dog), she is part beagle and part dachshund. And last but not least, Chewie (our little baby) is a chihuahua. He love chewing things and recently chewed our internet cable of all things!

I been using the internet for about 9 years. My old roommate introduce me to the world of computers and the WWW. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I learned how to sign up for an email addy, chatting and then a year later I found a group of ladies from around the globe. I was hooked since. I meet so many wonderful friends. I lost touch with some but there are a few online friends I still keep in touch with.

I've been using paint shop pro since 2000. I remember surfing the internet and saw so many wonderful graphics and wanted to learn how to make my own. At first, I thought psp was very intimidating and maybe it'll take forever to learn the program! But after lots of tutorials and help from the groups I joined, I am so hooked. But for a period of 3 years, I wasn't using paint shop pro because of some things going on with my life and I was not able to be on the computer during that time. But now, I had to quit my part-time job to be there for my son and I've been having more free time lately because of a painful heel spur, it keeps me from being on my feet.

One thing I forget to mention about myself
and none of my online friends know about is
the fact that I'm Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
My left ear is almost completely deaf, even a hearing aid in that ear won't help
and my right is only hard of hearing. I only wear a hearing aid in my right ear.
I had recently got an new hearing aid.
My previous one broke.

If you need a hearing aid and you can't afford it
There is a foundation call "The Starkey Hearing Foundation".
It is a national non-profit program committed to
assisting deaf and hard-of-hearing persons with limited
financial resources who permanently reside within the United States.
I only paid one hundred dollors for one hearing aid. It's two hundred for 2 aids.
